Sydney A.: There is absolutely no comparison. NAPA is so above and beyond. Their therapists are so knowledgeable. They are so in tune with what my kid needs, and everything is so personalized; they really take the time to get to know you. It makes you feel like you are a part of a family.
Kalyn P.: I really just fell in love with the approach, and so we decided to move all the way to California by ourselves. She does multiple intensives in a year, and the progress she has made because of NAPA is phenomenal. A year ago, she took her independent steps. Before NAPA, everyone told us that it was never going to happen. Because of NAPA, I felt like it could happen, which is why we moved here. Because I believed in it.
Tony G.: Walking by himself, and taking just a couple of steps, how that felt to him, it’s just breathtaking. It’s incredible. Having him see other children who are in a similar situation, and how hard they are working, drives him as well.
Brandee A.: Then you have the therapists, who are just amazing and make it fun, and who are happy to be there and happy to work with your child. To them, it’s not so much getting them to do what they should be doing; it’s getting your child to be who they are going to be. They get to that point where they are so proud of themselves — there’s no better feeling in the world. Just watching her inspires me, and it inspires others. It’s her journey, and we’re just along it with her.

Dean and Kristen F.: It’s really nice to bounce ideas off other families who have been in similar situations as ourselves. The socialization aspect for my son is that much more important as he gets older; integrating him into society is becoming a bigger part of his life.
Ram G.: Everything starts and ends with NAPA. They set goals, and we may not always meet them, but we’re always making progress, and it’s small, and it’s hard. It’s inches, not miles, but it’s worth it in the end because we’ve seen kids who are just like Rylin and their lives have been changed in the same way.
Jonathan S.: Jabril has made so many strides. He is the most awesome kid. He has worked so hard. When Jeff got him walking and everything, that just sent us over the moon. Everyone who comes into contact with Jabril, even if they don’t have therapy with him, encourages him. It’s amazing here. The atmosphere here is amazing. I would never want to go anywhere else.
Victor and Elsa E.: Thanks to NAPA and the teachers and everybody else, he’s able now to express himself. Before, he couldn’t. Our kids know when somebody is nice and when somebody treats them well. As parents, that gives us a good sense of peace, knowing that they’re in good hands. It just feels like family.
Marissa V.: I never saw her work so hard and do so many things. My husband and I were like, “This is the place. We need to be at this place.” So, we moved in 2016, out to California from Pennsylvania for NAPA. I really don’t feel like Emma would be where she is now without NAPA. It’s a whole encompassed unit of love for Emma and our entire family. I think that’s why it’s so special here and why so many people want to come here. It’s more than just the therapy, it really is a lot of love. There’s a lot of love here.
