AK knew early in life that she wanted to work with kids, but finding a career such as occupational therapy exceeded all previous expectations. After graduating from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with her doctorate in occupational therapy she hoped to find a career that aligned with her passions and goals. Throughout her classes, AK gravitated towards neurological foundations and pediatric studies. Once discovering NAPA Center, AK knew instantly that she wanted to work as an OT within the pediatric neurological population for this clinic. Serving children is the most rewarding career anyone could pursue. When AK is not at NAPA she enjoys spending time with friends, walking her dog named Finnegan, and working out at Orangetheory.
