Alex was born and raised in Texas. As the eldest of five siblings, she has always had a passion for working with children. Growing up she became involved in various youth organizations that encouraged active play and physical activity for children with disabilities. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, she moved to Australia to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Macquarie University with a specialty in pediatrics. Alex has experience working with children through hippotherapy, providing early childhood intervention services and has conducted research in the pediatric population in Sydney, Australia. When she is not at NAPA, Alex enjoys being out and about with her dogs, cheering on the Texas Longhorns and indulging in TexMex.
