Since she was 5 years old, Daniela always dreamed of pursuing a career where she could make a genuine difference in others’ lives. When she discovered OT, she knew it was an amazing way to do so, due to its holistic, person-centred, and strengths-based focus. Since graduating from her Master of Occupational Therapy, Daniela has worked within community disability and rehabilitation supporting individuals living with a variety of disabilities across the lifespan. In working with children within this role, Daniela realised her passion for paediatric practice and the profound impact supporting a child can have both for the child and their family. For this reason, Daniela enjoys the opportunity to collaborate with families; and really connect with her paediatric clients through play and enthusiasm!
Outside of the clinic, Daniela is an adrenaline junkie and outdoor enthusiast; enjoying rock climbing, cycling, and surfing both alone and with her friends.
