Dean graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Monash University in 2017. While studying, he worked as a swim teacher where he found his passion for working with children. He also found that he was driven by the need to help others unlock their full potential, oftentimes potential that they may not have realised themselves. This led him to pursue his Masters of Occupational Therapy from Swinburne University, which he completed in 2021. He understands that when working with a child you are really working with the whole community that engages with the child as well, so upskilling and accommodating for everyone involved is essential to him. When he is not rolling on the floor with kids in the clinic, Dean enjoys rolling on the mats doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, playing video games, watching anime, and cooking.
