Bachelor of Physiotherapy, University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa
Jess knew growing up that she wanted a career in helping people, and physiotherapy has been a great way of combining her love for this with her passion for understanding the human body and nervous system. She qualified in physiotherapy in South Africa and has done further courses in the assessment and treatment of kids and adults with neurological disorders. She realised she wanted to work with kids in her second year of studies, while doing a paediatric clinical block, and found that there is so much hope in helping them achieve goals that can often seem difficult to reach. The best part of working with kids is that you can have so much fun while working hard. Jess’s favourite part of working at NAPA is the team spirit and great diversity of larger-than-life personalities she has the joy of working with on a daily basis.
When Jess is not at NAPA, you can find her exploring beaches and coffee spots with her husband and little girl. She loves a catch up with friends and going for a good run.
