Bachelor of Physiotherapy, University of Canberra
Growing up Jonty always knew he was going to find a job helping others and when the time came, he chose physiotherapy since he thought it would be better than sitting at a desk all day. Little did he know this would lead him to paediatrics. During his later high school years Jonty started volunteering at disability camps, on the whim of some of his family and friends. Realising the joy and positivity that could be spread because of the interactions with these kids and their carers, he quickly developed a passion for working in paediatrics. This was only confirmed through his placement at the Sydney Children’s hospital, as he realized that this was something he could do for the rest of his life.
When not at NAPA you can find Jonty helping out at his church, playing team sports such as volleyball, basketball, or soccer and also hosting board games nights for friends and family. He’s always happy for a chat or complicated hi fives if you can spot him!
