Kristen earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She developed her love of working with children through teaching preschool and kindergarten in both the United States and Spain before transitioning into a career in OT. Kristen loves helping children develop adaptive strategies to promote meaningful engagement in their favorite activities. She has contributed to research on arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, co-authored several journal articles, and is currently involved in developing a classification scale for the condition. Kristen is passionate about using creativity and play to build connections and support children’s growth. Outside of NAPA, Kristen enjoys kayaking, reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
