MA in Speech-Language Pathology from A.T. Still University, Lizbeth has always been passionate about working with children and making a difference. She fell in love with the field of Speech-Language Pathology after meeting and shadowing two influential SLPs and believing that everyone deserves to communicate in their own way. As a native of Southern California, her previous experience includes working with the Los Angeles School District
for five years, and her clinical background includes early intervention and school-based settings. After experiencing the opportunity to be a NAPA graduate student intern, she fell in love with the impact of patient- and family-centered therapy, the multidisciplinary approach, the collaboration among different professions to help increase patients’ success, and NAPA’s mission. Lizbeth’s interests include feeding, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and early intervention. You can find Lizbeth learning to cook, dancing, enjoying outdoor activities, and traveling with her family and her fur baby, Roxie.
