MS Communication Disorders, Texas State University Madelyn discovered her love for speech-language pathology at an early age, after seeing the positive impact speech therapy had on her younger brother. Madelyn grew up in Houston, TX and received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) and her master’s degree from Texas State University. She enjoys working with children who have a variety of needs, especially within the areas of language and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She loves working with children and their families to find ways to facilitate communication through play-based therapy. In her spare time, Madelyn loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and going on walks all around Austin!
