Nekoda Saunders has a BSc. Physical Therapy and is registered in both the UK and Trinidad. She has worked with children of all ages and abilities through clinical practice, community outreach programmes, and sport, and is passionate about helping children feel confident, capable, and supported in every environment they are part of. Alongside her clinical work, Nekoda has been involved in projects focused on making classrooms more accessible for children with disabilities. She has also worked as a student aide, supporting children with additional needs to engage more easily with learning and school activities.
These experiences have shaped her strong belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, whether at home, in school, or in the community. Nekoda takes a child-centred
approach to therapy and values working closely with families to make therapy meaningful and practical. She has a strong passion for both teaching and learning, and regularly engages in research and professional development to ensure her practice continues to grow and evolve. She is proud to be part of an organisation like NAPA that prioritises the wellbeing, development, and individuality of every child. Outside of work, Nekoda enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family, especially playing games and creating memories together.
