A marketing professional with over two decades in high-level corporate roles, Paul made a significant life and career pivot to the paediatric disability sector, driven by a father’s love and a desire to make a tangible difference. The catalyst for his profound career change was his youngest son, Max. Born with cerebellar ataxia, a condition that affects motor skills, balance, and coordination, Max’s diagnosis set the Pozzobon family on a new path. Their journey led them to the NAPA (Neurological and Physical Abilitation) Center in Los Angeles, undertaking the first of what would become over fifteen intensive therapy sessions for Max at both the Sydney and Los Angeles clinics.

The positive impact of NAPA’s intensive therapy model on Max’s development was significant. This firsthand experience ignited a passion in Paul to make these crucial services more accessible to other Australian families. In 2018, he made the formal transition from the corporate world to the role of Managing Director for NAPA Centre Australia.

Paul’s commitment to the disability community extends beyond his role at NAPA. In November 2023, Paul Pozzobon joined the board of Belongside Families (formerly known as Kindred), an organisation that provides support and resources to families raising children with disabilities. In this role, he contributes his professional expertise and personal insights to further empower and connect families, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding.
