Bachelor Occupational Therapy (Honours), University of Newcastle, 2022.
Sam was born and raised in a small country town in the Hunter Valley of Australia. From a young age, he always knew that he wanted to give back to others and enable all people to thrive. Through work experience in a neurological paediatric clinic, Sam was inspired to begin his journey into Occupational Therapy and has never looked back. He discovered his true passion and joy for working with children in his final clinical placement in Sydney, and a year of paediatric OT assistant work in Newcastle. He strives to incorporate a mixture fun, enthusiasm, and a high-quality of care in his practice as an OT. Sam believes every child deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive as a person, no matter the cards they’re dealt. He finds immeasurable joy seeing kids reshuffle these cards, and reach their full potential, in all aspects of their life. Sam witnessed the high-quality care, innovative and individualised therapy programs for children while volunteering at NAPA, and was beyond excited to join the team.
When he’s not at work, you’ll find him missing every single shot on a basketball court or consuming as much Italian food as he can get his hands on, and a few beverages (fizzy drink). Sam loves socialising, playing games, exploring the city, binging movies and TV, Lego, and cooking especially when he’s not burning it.
