BSc of Occupational Therapy, University of Cape Town

Sarah is a passionate and creative occupational therapist who enjoys coming up with new and inventive solutions to problems for her clients. Originally from South Africa, she has had experience in a number of settings here, including a rural community hospital, a primary remedial school, and sensory-integrative focused private practice. Sarah moved to Australia in 2017 and has embraced Australian life and now eats vegemite on her toast and owns a pair of Uggs. Sarah loves working with children and their families and joining them on their journey as they work towards more independence for their child. Sarah’s favourite part of the job is the opportunity to develop close relationships with the families that she is working with over the 3-week intensive blocks. Sarah loves to learn and is continually trying to increase her knowledge so that she can better help her clients. She has done specific training in Sensory Integration with many additional courses adding to this knowledge, transforming the way she works with children. Other interests include getting outdoors and being active in nature. Weekends often include yoga, camping, hiking and long days on the beach.
