BSc Occupational Therapy

Sarah chose the field of Occupational Therapy due to her love of helping other people. She worked for 3 years as an OT in Ireland before exploring opportunities to work in Australia in 2020. Sarah then worked for 4 years in the community in Sydney, supporting children with disabilities to better access their local community groups and participate better in home/school environments. Sarah’s biggest passion is supporting engagement and regulation with her clients and she has extensive training in the DIR Floortime Model.

She joined the Sydney NAPA team in 2023 with the aim of continuing her learning in paediatric practice.

When Sarah is not at work, she enjoys outdoor pursuits such as hiking, running, gym and spending time with her friends. She is friendly and approachable and always happy to help others.
