Sydney is a Speech-Language Pathologist who recently relocated to Denver from South Florida. She attended the University of Florida for both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. When Sydney was a young child, she had a language delay. This experience led to her dream of becoming an SLP in the hopes that she could impact other children’s lives in the same way her speech therapist impacted her life. During graduate school, her passion for working with medically complex children grew while working with a wide range of pediatric patients in outpatient clinics and acute care hospitals. It was through this experience that she developed a special interest in working with patients who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices as well as pediatric feeding disorders. In her free time, Sydney enjoys watching sports (Go Gators!), playing with her rescue dog, and spending time outdoors. She is excited to help kids reach their full potential with the NAPA Center utilizing evidence-based therapies tailored to the patient’s needs.
