Sydney is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in working with pediatric populations, with a particular interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Originally from Upstate New York, Sydney holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Dakota and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her clinical experience spans a range of settings,
including pediatric private practice, and adult rehabilitative services, where she developed a strong foundation in communication and swallowing therapy across the lifespan. Guided by a child-led approach and play based therapeutic approach, Sydney strives to follow each child’s interests and pace to create a safe, engaging environment for growth. Her professional interests include infant and toddler language acquisition, pediatric language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, developmental delays, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and feeding and swallowing disorders. Sydney is
passionate about empowering families and helping children develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday life and her goal is always to make therapy functional, engaging, and collaborative. Outside of NAPA, Sydney enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends.
