Trista’s genuine passion for working with children began as a figure skating coach, where she loved helping kids build confidence and develop skills. Her honours research aimed at improving participation for children with cerebral palsy and volunteer experiences at preschool HABIT-ILE camps, sparked her commitment to participation-based and goal-oriented approaches, and interests in intensive and early childhood interventions. Trista values partnering with children and their families and is dedicated to making therapy enjoyable, empowering, and meaningful for every child.
Originally from Hong Kong, Trista is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and delights in connecting with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of NAPA, she stays active with bouldering and badminton, and loves spending time outdoors with her golden retriever, Ryleigh, as well as going on food adventures with friends.
