Masters of Occupational Therapy, University of Sydney

Zoraida is a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist, that has worked and volunteered in a variety of settings including wildlife rehabilitation and community research. Zoraida’s greatest passion is exploring the world and she was even lucky enough to volunteer with children in the Dominican Republic. Zoraida came to Sydney from the USA to study her Masters in Occupational therapy in 2016. Having quickly fallen in love with Sydney and tiramisu gelato from Messina, she hasn’t looked back since.

Zoraida Ioves seeing kids fulfill their potential and this drives her to go the extra mile whenever possible. Zoraida started off by volunteering at NAPA. She knew straight away that NAPA’s unique approach truly makes a difference in people’s lives and wanted to be a part of the team.

When not in the NAPA centre, Zoraida can be found rock climbing, hiking, attempting beach volleyball, or playing laser tag. Being half Iranian and half Mexican, she also enjoys cooking a wide variety of dishes!
