We are thrilled to share that this year we are stepping up for progress by joining STEPtember, a month-long challenge that fuels groundbreaking research and innovation powered by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation. This inclusive, virtual event is more than just a health and well-being challenge, it is a movement that brings people together to create change. By participating, we honor and support the many families at NAPA who have children with Cerebral Palsy, while living out our core values of Love, Hope, Share, and Grow. Together, we can make a lasting impact and move the world forward, one step at a time.
STEPtember makes it simple and fun to join. The challenge is to commit to your health by taking 10,000 steps a day—or the equivalent—throughout September. With nearly 90 ways to keep moving, from dancing and swimming to gardening and adaptive sports, there is something for everyone. Every step and every dollar raised helps fuel CPARF’s mission to improve lives through groundbreaking research and life-changing assistive technology.
At NAPA, our mission goes beyond innovative therapy. We build a community where families feel supported, empowered, and inspired. Many families we serve have children with Cerebral Palsy, and STEPtember gives us a meaningful way to stand with them. By joining, we not only promote health and well-being, we also contribute to research and technology that can transform lives. Together, we can turn steps into hope, progress, and lasting change.
Teams can have up to four members, and for fairness, staff and family teams will be separate. Whether joining a team or cheering from the sidelines, there is a place for you. STEPtember at NAPA will also include a friendly clinic-versus-clinic competition, adding an extra layer of motivation and team spirit.
